What To Know Before Your First Appointment

Thank you so much for choosing Blue Honeymoon for this tattoo! We look forward to meeting you on the date of your appointment, but for now check out this quick runthrough so you'll know what to expect!

• Blue Honeymoon Tattoo is located at 463 Main Street in Islip, NY. There is a free parking lot behind our shop, as well as limited 2 hour street parking in the front.

​

• Please aim to be at the shop by the time of your appointment, as we book several tattoos for each day. If you expect to arrive late, please give us a call as soon as possible with your ETA so we can plan our following clients accordingly.

​

• Don't fret if you arrive early - there are tons of portfolios and flash sheets in the shop for you to check out while you wait. We're also within walking distance from several restaurants and coffee shops if you'd prefer to check out the town before stopping in!

​

• A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all first-time appointments. This could be a Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, or anything else that features both your picture and birthdate.

​

• Children under 18 are not allowed in the shop as per NY State law. We love your kids but please leave them at home. That said, you can definitely bring a friend along as long as they're 18 or over!

​

• Minor tweaks such as size and placement can be altered on the day of your appointment, however please reach out sooner if you plan on making any other changes to your design.

​

• Appointments that are rescheduled/cancelled within 48 hours of your scheduled date will result in a forfeited deposit. 

​

• We'll give you a detailed aftercare sheet during checkout, but you can find a digital version here.

​

• We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area that will be tattooed.

​

• Cash and all major credit/debit cards are acceptable forms of payment for your tattoo. At this moment we do not accept ApplePay, Zelle, Venmo/CashApp, or PayPal.
