Where are you located?
Blue Honeymoon Tattoo is conveniently located on Main Street in Islip, NY right next door to Starbucks. We're a 1/2 mile west of 111 and .7 miles from the Islip train station.
How old do I have to be to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years old to get tattooed in the State of New York. Even with parental/legal guardian consent, you cannot legally get tattooed under the age of 18 in New York State.
How do I book an appointment?
To book an appointment, please fill out the form under the "Book an Appointment" tab. Upon receipt of your submission, we'll reach out to you to confirm the date of your appointment and collect a deposit.
Do I need to leave a deposit to secure the date of my appointment?
Yes. We require a $100 deposit to secure all appointments. Your deposit goes towards the final price of your tattoo. Think of it as tattoo layaway; if the final cost of your tattoo ends up being $300, only $200 would be owed day-of.
You can leave your deposit via our website, over the phone, or in person. Deposits must be submitted at the time your appointment is booked and are non-refundable if your appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash as well as all major credit cards. Please see your individual artist for other forms of payment.
What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable and loose fitting clothes that allow easy access to the area getting tattooed to your appointment.
Do you do piercings?
No. We do not do piercings.
Can I use tattoo numbing cream during my appointment?
Blue Honeymoon does not provide tattoo numbing cream, however we can make accommodations if you wish to bring your own. If you do wish to use numbing cream, it is extremely important that you let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
